KAWA FALLS
The hidden falls in Cebu City
Who would not expect that simple yet magnificent Waterfall is located inside the city? due to its remote area where it is located, this place is only known to few people.
Few of our friends want to have a trip to something that is not so common for the masses, as one of the people who knew this place I suggested to them that this place is what they have been looking for.
We met together in Emall and rode a jeepney going to Punta. When we arrived at Punta we rode a habal-habal going to Barangay Toong, Cebu city and the fare was only 20 pesos. After riding a habal-habal we started to hike going to the falls.
The start of the hike is so exhausting, the trail downhill is so stepped that one of our friends tripped and roll downhill hahaha. We are not yet halfway there but many of my friends sweat a lot for the trial is not so easy.
Yet despite a long and tiring walk we still manage to talk with each other and have some fun while walking. Telling a story, cracking jokes, and singing is what we did to cover up the pain of our calves and legs, even a tiring trail is not a hinder to the excitement and their adventurous souls.
While arriving at the location, my friends dropped their jaws and just say "Woah" at the majestic scenery of the falls. there are no other people there aside from my friends because as I've said before the location is far to reach and the trail is not so easy. But all the pain and Sweat are paid off.
We set up our bags and ate lunch because we arrived already at noon. After eating we started to swim. Jumping into the water is what we did and later on, we climb up and go inside the "kawa" and there we enjoyed swimming.
After swimming, we started to pack up things and trashes because it not good to leave trashes there and it will kill our environment. Later on, we started walking going home and not leaving a single trace but only footprints and memories.
